Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls. It is my great privilege and an honor to announce to you that I have received a conditional appointment to the Virginia Military Institute. Through my hours of hard work and hoping and wishing, I have gotten into my first choice of civilian(I guess you could say that) colleges. If it doesn't work out with the Naval Academy, looks like I'm going to be a Rat for a while. Woohoo!
